Defines “Corporation” as the Uganda Tea Growers Corporation and “Minister” as the Minister responsible for agriculture. The Minister must, on the coming into force of the Act, appoint a liquidator to dissolve the Corporation; the liquidator shall be appointed on such terms and conditions as the Minister may determine in the instrument of appointment. The liquidator must receive all the assets of the Corporation. Repeals The Uganda Tea Growers Corporation Act, Cap. 37 (Revised Edition, 2000).

Section 1. Interpretation Section In this Act, unless the context otherwise requires— “ Corporation ” means the Uganda Tea Growers Corporation established under the Uganda Tea Growers Corporation Act , Cap. 37 (Revised Edition, 2000); “ Minister ” means the Minister responsible for agriculture.
