Section 1. Presidential engagements Section 1(1) The President, acting on the advice of the Cabinet, may by statutory instrument make regulations dealing with engagements or activities of the President which are not of a purely private personal nature and which are related to any matter of public interest. Section 1(2) This Act and regulations made under this Act shall apply to the Vice President as such and whenever he or she is performing his or her functions under article 108(3) of the Constitution.
