The Tribunal found that the 33KV power supply line and associated wayleaves over the applicant's property were constructed by Uganda Electricity Board in 1997 and subsequently vested in Uganda Electricity Distribution Company Ltd (UEDCL) under Regulation 2(c) of S.I No. 28 of 2002. The Tribunal held that all rights and liabilities relating to the Kabale substation, including the power lines and wayleaves, were transferred to the 1st Respondent.
