Rex v Nurmohamed Jessa and Others (Criminal Appeals Nos. 261, 262 and 263 of 1945) [1945] EACA 38 (1 January 1945)
The Court held that a control-of-prices regulation did not criminalize a manufacturer’s own possession of substandard soap before sale. Convictions were quashed and fines refunded.
