Kantinti v Llumala and 2 Others (Civil Suit 902 of 2022) [2023] UGHCLD 389 (16 October 2023)

The court found that the plaintiff failed to demonstrate locus standi to institute the suit as a legal representative of the estate of the late James Kantinti. The order relied upon by the plaintiff was issued for a different suit and did not confer capacity for subsequent proceedings. The plaintiff did not attach evidence of letters of administration or any other valid authority as required by the Succession Act.
