Katamba v SESACO Limited (Civil Suit 978 of 2019) [2024] UGCommC 146 (30 January 2024)
The court found that the Plaintiff was appointed as a Director of the Defendant company and entitled to an annual honorarium, which was not paid for one year and six months, constituting a breach of the Service Agreement. The Plaintiff also paid UGX 100,000,000 for the supply of Defatted Soya Flour (DSF), but the Defendant failed to supply the DSF or refund the money, amounting to breach of contract.
