Kibuuka v Namisango (Civil Application 18 of 2020) [2023] UGHC 327 (27 February 2023)

The court found that the respondent filed the memorandum of appeal three months after the judgment, well outside the statutory 30-day period prescribed by Section 79(1) of the Civil Procedure Act. The respondent did not provide any valid reason or evidence to justify the delay or to benefit from the exclusion of time under Section 79(2).
