Uganda Performing Rights Society v Mega Standard Supermarket (Miscellaneous Application No. 1042 of 2015) [2016] UGCommC 84 (6 May 2016)

The court found that the applicant had established a strong prima facie case of copyright infringement, supported by affidavit evidence and recordings of unauthorized public performance of musical works under the applicant's repertoire at the respondent's premises.
